EXPERIENCED AUTOMATIC DOOR ENGINEER
(Field Based -North West)
Salary:
- Up to £45,000 per annum (dependant on experience) + uncapped overtime
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week paid door to door plus uncapped overtime as required
- Occasional weekend work or overnight stays required
Role and Responsibilities:
- The installation, repair and servicing of all types of automatic doors including sliding, swing, revolving, bi-part and telescopic.
- The role is based from home and will entail various site attendance covering work on entrance systems such as responding to call outs, fault finding, repair, installation and servicing.
- Advise customers of potential equipment faults identified whilst on site.
- Working within the commercial and industrial sectors covering sites such as schools, retirement villages, offices, factories and high street retail outlets.
- Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered on-site
- Carry out effective communications with the client and administration team and ensure high quality of reporting/job sheets are submitted.
- Ensure the company meets its obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations laid down by the professional bodies we subscribe to
- Identifying additional sales opportunities
Skills and Experience:
- A full UK driving licence (max 3 points) (Essential)
- Clean record for DBS check (Essential)
- At least 3 years’ complete experience working on automatic doors (Essential)
- ADSA/ADIA - BS7036 EN16005 (Essential)
- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker (Essential)
- IPAF 3A +3B & PASMA Certified (Desirable)
- DHF Shutter or Gates & Barriers qualified (Desirable)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Professional, reliable and have can-do attitude plus a flexible approach to work
